Our Minister
Rev. Jane Burnette loves Science of Mind and has been involved in some aspect of New Thought most of her life. She enjoys traditional writings of Ernest Holmes and Emma Curtis Hopkins AND new contributors such as Abraham – Hicks.
Born and raised in North Carolina she lives for learning and applying the principles of New Thought to her life, and teaching them to others. Before following the call to New Thought ministry, she was a successful wedding officiant and still loves working with couples both in pre-marital counseling and helping plan once-in-a-lifetime, unique wedding ceremonies. She started her Practitioner courses online, in the Fall of 2011, successfully completing them in 2013. In January of 2015, she started the most exciting adventure of her life when she entered Holmes Institute and began the path to ministry.
She lives in High Point and has worked at the family tooling business since the 1970’s. She’s been blessed with one son, Gray, who currently serves as an officer in the navy and is stationed in Virginia. She still enjoys a relationship with her 97-year-old mother who lives in a retirement facility in High Point. She shares her home with, and loves, her three cats, Lucky, Charkie and Rubio.
She is thrilled and honored to have found a home at CSL Graham, and looks forward to serve the Center, for example by breathing new life into its Youth Program – maybe even inviting its participants to create a new name for ‘their’ program!
